TIDA Scholarship

Industry (trucking/insurance) members are encouraged to apply for a scholarship to attend the 2021 TIDA Annual Seminar. Seventy (70) scholarships are available. The scholarship is only valid for in-person attendees of the 2021 TIDA Annual Seminar and is not applicable for any other seminars.

Scholarships will include the following:

  • One (1) complimentary Seminar registration
  • Two (2) hotel nights at the TIDA group rate at the host hotel arriving on October 13, departing October 15.
  • Up to $300.00 in airfare reimbursement (The reimbursement checks are presented to the scholarship recipient at the end of the Seminar.)

Scholarship Criteria 

  • Be a TIDA Industry Member in good standing
  • Maximum of three scholarships per company
  • If you received a scholarship in the past year, you may be wait listed
  • Scholarships are offered on a first come, first served basis

Scholarship Application 

If you are awarded a scholarship, TIDA will notify you by September 23, 2021.

**If you're applying for a scholarship: Do not register for the Annual Seminar until after the awarded scholarships are announced on September 23, 2021. If awarded, we will provide you with a promotional code to cover your registration cost.

 Cancellation Policy

TIDA is responsible to uphold the cost of your hotel room. All scholarship cancellations must be made in writing no later than three (3) weeks prior (September 22, 2021) to the Seminar via email at [email protected]. If you accept the scholarship and do not attend the Seminar without cancelling, then you may be ineligible to receive a scholarship in the future. If there is an unforeseen circumstance/emergency that you would like to be considered for an exception to this ineligibility, please advise TIDA as soon as possible prior to the Seminar.

Use of the scholarship promotional code is only valid for the awarded scholarship recipient and should not be shared with any other individual. Should the promotional code be shared, TIDA has full discretion to revoke the awarded scholarship. Eligibility for future years scholarships are at the discretion of TIDA.
